Interview with Walter Janzen of Janzen Photography of Winnipeg, Canada

JOHN: You are listening to VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. Today we are in the studio with Walter Janzen of Jensen Photography. He’s also the President of Professional Photographers of Canada. Welcome to the program, Walter.

WALTER: Thank you.

JOHN: Can you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

WALTER: Actually MorePhotos has been a terrific thing for our studio. We’ve been using their services for about a year now, and it’s just given us an opportunity to get our images out to the people who live far away. We’ll have many situations where we’ll have a family come in where somebody is in from out of town, and not everybody can come in to view the images at the studio, because some have had to fly home to some far off distant land and by using the MorePhotos’ service, we have been able to meet first of all with the local people and make some of the basic decisions and then take all of the favorite images, post them online so that with a password protected part of our website everybody has been able to go right onto the web from their own computers in their own homes at their own convenient time, not only see the images, but actually place orders online so they can order direct without actually coming back to Winnipeg to visit the studio. So that’s been terrific. It also brings more people to the websites, because your linked through your own website. So they go to our website, Janzenphotography.com and in our case you click on client login, enter a password that has been pre-determined to give them and by going direct through our website they get to their images on the MorePhotos’ Service, but while they are in our tendency to also stop and view the different galleries of different images we have. What we found is it’s brought a lot more traffic on a daily basis to our site while people are looking to see their families and friends and what not.

Interview with Frank Harrison of Timepiece Photography and Spotlight Photographics of Paducah, Kentucky

JOHN: Welcome to VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. Today we are in the studio with Paduka, Kentucky, photographer, Frank Harrison. He is also the operations manager of both Timepiece Photography and Spotlight Photographics which is changing the image of photo day for professional photographers. Welcome to the program, Frank. Would you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped both of your businesses.

FRANK: MorePhotos has absolutely come up with the most ingenious way for a photographer like ourselves to be able to up load our images to the website, provide our customers with a very easy way of being able to view and purchase their photos. MorePhotos also offers us a very flexible way of being able to offer multiple price lists and image descriptions of what we offer to the customers as well as be able to provide our products to their network of photographers throughout the country and the world, because they do offer their services I believe in 8 different countries.

Interview with Adam Stein of Alpine Images of Sun Peaks , BC, Canada

JOHN: Today we are in the studio with Sun Peak, British Columbia, Canada, photographer, Adam Stein, of Alpine Images and you are listening to VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. Thanks for joining us today, Adam. Would you kindly tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

ADAM: Oh it’s absolutely unbelievable. I have to say their a fantastic company. Truly I do a lot of event photography and showcase and sell a lot of my photography online. We’ve used other companies in the past, and since I’ve found MorePhotos, it made a huge difference. Their software is very user friendly. They think kind of like professional photographers think. It’s not an add-on for the general public; it’s really professional photography specific company. Their help line are fantastic. The guys there definitely know what they’re doing, and they get back to you in a timely fashion when you’re in a bit of a panic and you need to get things organized, and I have to say they’ve made an absolutely huge difference in my e-commerce.

Interview with Gary Zuyus and Angela White of Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel of Helen, GA

JOHN: Today on VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight we have Helen, Georgia, photographer, Gary Zuyus and wedding coordinator, Angela White of Magnolia Terrace Wedding Chapel. Welcome to the program you two. Can you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

GARY: Well as a photographer I’ll tell you my sales tripled. I’ve been using them for about a year and a half now and started off a little slow, but once we got them going, it was fantastic. Again, my sales tripled and if there is a little problem…you have a technical problem…you call them up and they get on it immediately. You talk to someone in the United States who speaks English and help you right through it and you’re back up and running again. We’ve had very few glitches; very few problems. So far, again, we couldn’t be happier and here’s Angela she works with them as well.

ANGELA: It’s a wonderful tool for families who can’t attend weddings. The bride just simply tells them what site to go to, and we have never had any problems with our photos coming in and them having to order it. It’s just been a wonderful, wonderful tool to have for our business.

Interview with Denny Mason of Blossom Trail Photography

JOHN: Today we are in the studio with Reedley, California, photographer, Denny Mason, of Blossom Trail Photography. You’re listening to VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. Denny, thank you for joining us today. Would you kindly tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

DENNY: Well actually I’ve been using their service for about 5 years and I hook it into my main website to display photographs. When I take pictures of people that’s how I shoot so that I can upload the proofs online and the beautiful thing about their service is that people can’t copy the pictures. I love that so much because that just eliminates that problem for me altogether. And they’ve done a really great job of adding features. Michael Connors the owner takes the time to…I’ve called in and he’s just a great guy. He’s all about marketing, and he loves just telling me new things that I can do to help my business to market more. So I appreciate that personal attention, and I just really love their website and their service. It’s very reasonably priced. I’ve priced out some other services which are 3, 4, 5 times more expensive and they’ve kept their prices really very reasonable so I appreciate that too. So, anyway, I just love their service.

Interview with Mark Youngblood of Youngblood Studios of Haerstown, MD

JOHN: We are in the studio today with Hagarstown, Maryland, photographer, Mark Youngblood, of Youngblood Studios, and you’re listening to VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. Welcome to the program, Mark. Can you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

MARK: It’s just helped me streamline my business as I don’t have to sit down and meet with every client to show them proofs. With my wedding photography, I’m doing an engagement session before their wedding and what I’m doing with that session is making a wallet size card that has their engagement photograph on one side and then on the other side it’s going to have directions to tell all the guests at the reception on how to look at this couple’s wedding photographs. So I make enough of those and hand all those out at the reception so I’m doing 30 weddings a year and most weddings that I do have 300 guests, and you do the math on that of how many people that drives to my website and not only am I selling photographs to family, at that point I get to sell photographs to pretty much all their friends too that were at the wedding. When I get into my family photographs, I’m using that to upload the photographs. All the family members can not only go online and look at the photographs, but they can pass the website all around to all their family and friends and say hey look at my photographs I just had done and so there you’ll have other people buying photographs also other than just the immediate family that you photographed so it’s been a really good toll for my business. It’s amazing how many hits I get on my website when I look at the site count. It just blows me away at how many people are going out and looking at my photographs and even past brides that I photographed four or five years ago are still going to my site just looking to see who I’m photographing, because they just looking at my photographs that they’re just going and checking out my website. It’s a great sales tool.

Interview with Greg Ishmael of IM Images Photography of Altus, OK

JOHN: This is VTalk Radio’s Photography Spotlight. I’m your host, John Bentley. Today we are in the studio with Greg Ishmael of IM Images of Altus, Oklahoma. Thanks for joining us, Greg. Can you tell us how morephotos.com has helped your business?

GREG: Well thank you, John. Yeah, their hosting services booted sales by being able to put my images and sell them online. Their website templates…very easy to use; easy to customize. It attaches to just about whatever credit card service you use, if you use a credit card, you don’t have to. I use my own lab so you don’t have to rely on whatever lab they’re affiliated with. You have the choice…your hands aren’t tied like in some other situations. They’re rates are excellent. I’ve been really, really pleased. I have a connection with Wedding Details which has got me some connections on doing a few jobs. Their whole organization works well together, and I’ve benefited from it so I’m tickled pink.

February 2008

Interview with Craig Bumgardner of Craig Caro Photography of Aimes, Iowa

JOHN: Craig, can you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

CRAIG: Well, I tell you, with the digital revolution, they've been very instrumental in helping our business thrive in this digital age, and we owe them a big thank you for that.

Interview with Tate Seimer of Cloud Nine Photography from Salt Lake City, Utah

JOHN: Tate, can you tell our listening audience how morephotos.com has helped your business.

TATE: Absolutely. I've been using MorePhotos now going on my third year here. MorePhotos is set up really integrated in from my website as my only proofing system. In other words, all my clients see all the work that I do for them through my MorePhotos interface. It has been extremely easy to use. The customer service has always been great in terms of I almost always get somebody to answer live, and if not they all ways call back right away. Typically, you have an answer for whatever concern I have right away. It's a really easy system for clients to use. They think it's really cool and the nice thing about it when I say it's integrated into my system, they think it's my system. It looks just like my website so they think it's part of my website and something that I put together and it's just very sophisticated, very intuitive system to use and very user friendly. I've been very pleased with it.

Interview with Ruth Harper of Happily Every After from Minneapolis St. Paul, Minnesota

DAMIEN: Ruth could you tell us how morephotos.com has helped your business.

RUTH: You know I have been a MorePhotos customer for years. They are the only online proofing company that I have ever used, because they're the best. The main thing that I really like about More Photos is they're integrated into my website so when clients click on the link that I have that says online proof it looks like they're still in my website. A new page will open up, it's been customized by the guys at MorePhotos to completely match the design of the rest of my site so when the clients find they're still on my website and the entire list of every event that I have posted online comes up so it's been a really great marketing tool for me, because brides will call and say something like have you ever shot at such and such a location, and I can say sure and as a matter of fact I have a whole wedding online right now if you'd like to look at it. So they're able to come in and look at an entire wedding which usually sells them before they ever walk in the door. The clients like it as well, because they can save all of their favorites, make little packages for themselves. It just works out great and I recommend MorePhotos to everyone that I know.

November 2007

Interview with Ron St. Jean of Ron St. Jean Photography from Rollinsford, NH

JOHN: Ron, can you tell us how has morephotos.com helped your business?

RON: MorePhotos has provided me the opportunity to have a website that is easy to maintain. I can maintain it myself and update it myself which allows me to present a fresh contemporary view to the public. When people are looking for a photographer and then come across my site, they have a site that's attractive, easy to navigate, and that has worked well for me.

Interview with Amanda Litts of Digital Designs from Peshtigo, WI

JOHN: Amanda, can you tell us how has morephotos.com helped your business?

AMANDA: Well, MorePhotos was pretty much a Godsend for me. I ran across the website. I was at a seminar in Minneapolis and the gal that was sitting next to me, we of course, were talking and this is before I quit my job and so I was mostly doing photography on the side, but one of my big hurdles was the website. And I had been looking for a class that I could take locally where I could design my own website. I had certain things that I wanted it to do and I didn't want it to be complicated. I knew that it would have to be updated frequently to keep current on what I was doing, what was going on. I knew that I wanted my customers to be able to do their photos online and I didn't want it to be time consuming for me to take care of keeping it up to date and all of that. I wasn't having any luck finding any course locally that I could take and I was pretty overwhelmed by the whole thing, but luckily I was talking to this gal at the seminar, and she gave me her card and was telling me that More Photos was the website that she used. I got back home, and I checked it out and I was really impressed right away at how easy everything was. I believe that it was only a couple weeks after that I got signed up and the people were very helpful on the phone. You know, I had a choice of getting a custom designed one or using the templates that they had. I took a risk and I wanted to get it up and running as quickly as possible so I went with the templates and they helped me with getting the domain name set up so I didn't really have to do anything for that. They took care of that once I found a name that wasn't taken already and it was such a relief to have this company that was going to take care of everything that I basically had been dreading doing for so long and it was so easy and affordable really, and it did everything that I needed it to do. They've constantly made improvements and keep updating. I just updated my site again with new colors and a new layout and I think that's important so new customers don't get bored. I have a lot of customers that go and they just look at my pictures all the time. So, it's nice to be able to change the colors and the layout from time to time just so people don't get bored with looking at the same thing and the improvements that they keep adding is just wonderful. Now I'm taking credit cards and they can even take that information, it's pretty easy for the customers to use, you know, not hard for them to figure out how to get in and look at their pictures and place their orders and it's just been great for my business and a time saver because I didn't have to learn how to write code for making my own site, and I think it looks good, and my customers think it looks good. It does what it's supposed to do. I've been very happy with the service they have provided me.

Interview with Steve Tarver of Steve Tarver Photography from Humble, TX

JOHN: Welcome to the program Steve, can you tell us how has morephotos.com helped your business?

STEVE: Absolutely, we are making sales that we never would have been able to reach out and touch in the other ways that we used to sell. For instance, we have everything from grand parents that are in Rhode Island or San Diego or Seattle that can get online through the way that MorePhotos lets us display the images and actually look at and enlarge picked images that they'd like to have. They can place them in their shopping cart right then and can go immediately to checkout. They can pay by Paypal or credit cards or send us a check once it's done. If you consider though we would not have been able to reach those people in a more conventional way such as mailing out proofs or waiting till the grand parents came to visit or things like that. Absolutely, our sales have gone up a whole lot thanks to MorePhotos, and we found MorePhotos to be easy to use as far as organizing and uploading our images as far as building pricing lists and options that people can make. If you visit our website, you can actually go through and look at the different kinds of albums that we offer, the different kinds of printed cards we offer, and you can pick and chose and marry images to those different things right there online and it's basically because we found MorePhotos to be very easy to use from our point.

Interview with Cindy Ramano of C. Ramano Photography from Woodstock, IL

JOHN: Cindy, would you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

CINDY: I love morephotos.com. I switched over from a company that I had a long time ago to MorePhotos and they've been very helpful. Customer service is great. I can call them and they talk me through stuff and help me through the back page of my website. I like my website, but I can go on the back page and change wording and change images. That's a big plus for me being a photographer is to keep my images fresh and new on my website. You can change colors; they help you with templates and layouts so you can create your own specific style in your website. I like the fact that I can download all my images from a wedding and have my customers and everybody who came to the wedding go online and look at all the images that I have produced from that wedding, and they can order on there. I like the email. My customers can email me from my website, and they can also get newsletters from my website. So, the website handles all my business needs.

Interview with Bob Sargent of Sargent Photography from Tampa, FL

JOHN: Bob, would you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

BOB: I started with MorePhotos, oh gosh, a few years ago. I can't tell you how long it's been, but they host my website for me. My clients find it very easy to order their images and stuff from there. It tells me a lot because it's so easy for everything. It's a one-stop for me, because they host my site and they do the retail end of it for me, and they just email me when the clients get an order from me, and it just works out really wonderful. I've recommended it to several of my compares' and no one's ever complained yet, so I think it's just a wonderful thing.

Interview with Gordon Geraci of Elite Photography from Cincinnati, OH

JOHN: Gordon, could you kindly tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

Gordon: Well we use morephotos.com to help us streamline what we want to do in the studio. There is so many different ways to use morephotos.com, but we use it for those sessions, to proof those sessions that we don't see to be sales opportunities. Pretty much we're an in studio projection studio where we don't let proofs go out. We want to do the sale and help the client right here in the studio, but every now and then let's say there's a re-shoot situation.oh the client needs something for the yearbook on a blue background, they've already come in and placed their order, they just found out that the school's changed the requirements, they need something on a blue background now. It's really not going to be a sales opportunity for us, so rather than take up a projection room for the client to have to come all the way back in just to look at 6 or 10 different head and shoulder shots on a blue background, we'll just pump it up on our website through morephotos.com and let the client go in and look at it and just call us with the number that they want to choose. Now, that's just one way we use it. There are other things we do where there are not sales opportunities, but maybe more of a benefit to a client where we're not going to try to sell them portraits, we just want them to be able to able to view what we've done. Let's say recently I've done all the policemen in Evanston. We wanted them to see all their images, but we're not trying to sell them as a community service we provide. So rather than have each police officer have to come back in to our studio and view their six or eight choices, we can just upload them all to the website. They all can get on at their convenience, even get on anywhere in the world. Family members in Florida can look at it, and consult with people and then they can call us with their final choices. Sometimes business publicity will use it for that where the client has prepaid for a package and they just simply need to pick out their favorite one image and so we can upload the 20 or 30 choices that they have, they can look at them and then call us back. It's very convenient for the business client to not have to come back and then also be able to consult with other people that they want to bring in on the decision before they make a final decision. So that's how we use morephotos.com. There's just a whole host of ways you can use it. We are entertaining thoughts of different ways to use it, but it's nice to know it's there any time we want to use it.

Interview with Jeff Dyer of Photo Expressions from Southington, CT

JOHN: Jeff, could you kindly tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

JEFF: Well morephotos.com has really changed the way that we do business. MorePhotos allows us to put all of our images up online so our clients can view their images remotely, not only view them, but look at them larger, change them to black and white, put images into a favorites folder, order images online. It has taken a lot of the labor out of our hands and made it simpler for not only the client, but for us.

Interview with Jim Pierce of Downtown Pro Photo from Crystal Lake, IL

JOHN: Jim, could you kindly tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

JIM: Well they've helped us in a multitude of ways. We've gotten some pretty good marketing ideas from them. We've also been able to offer to our customers because we have a lot of individual smaller studios where sometimes people are working out of their house or small location where they rent areas, and by using MorePhotos, we have been able to set them up with their own websites. They have been able to do the online hosting of events such as family portraits all the way up to weddings, and this allows them to be able to compete with the bigger guys. It helps them to offer their services in today's modern technology and to take advantage of the online ordering systems, the marketing, having to their own website. So it really helps our clients tremendously to be able to do this affordably and also competitively with the bigger guys who have the little, deeper pockets. They've got the server, they've got the big, fancy web designers, and it gives them the little edge that they need to succeed.

Interview with Mark Frapwell of Frapwell Photography from San Diego, CA

JOHN: Mark, can you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

MARK: Well, you know, I tell you, there has been one business, More Photos, that has helped me more than any other business that I've worked through. For one, I have my online photo galleries through them. My client's get to order their photos right through them. They can either fulfill the prints and ship them to my clients, or I can fulfill them and ship them to my clients. And they're knowledge of photographers, their helpfulness. what they have done for me with their little hints and clues of my business has streamlined my business tremendously, and I just very much appreciate what they do for me and how they have treated my business.

Interview with Don Farquhar of Associates in Overland Park, KS

JOHN: Don, can you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

DON: It has helped me in quite a few ways. The biggest advantage with MorePhotos is we're able to get our images out to be seen by far more people than what could have been seen back when we used to do paper proofs. This way if your grandma lives out of town, she can see them, aunts and uncles can see them. When we're doing weddings it is extremely important that we do have our own email addresses. We do send out an email to all the brides and everybody, all the attendants also. This way they can go on the website and they can take a look at the wedding photographs. One thing that we have noticed over the years is that bridesmaids and groomsmen and grandparents and things like this nature here, very seldom get to see the professional images that are taken by a photographer. By using MorePhotos we are able to go and we're able to catch that group of people. We're able to go ahead and show them the photographs and it's reaped its good rewards as far as orders that come back from a shoot. We have been looking around to many, many, many different online companies. We found MorePhotos as with all the other companies we have been looking at, we gave them a call. We had certain perimeters that we wanted. We wanted to do this, we wanted to do that, we wanted to do something else. I had talked to Michael Connors, and he was just unbelievably counseled. My first visit with MorePhotos, I was on the phone for almost 2 hours with them. The next day, I was back on the phone for another hour with them with more questions and getting information from them exactly what they could do, and he was showing me what they could do and how they do it. The following day, again, I was on the phone an hour with him trying to find out a little bit more details. Finally when we had decided to go with MorePhotos, that's decision we have not regretted. The changes that are continuing to happen in the industry, MorePhotos is right on top of it. They are right there assisting the photographer. If you have any needs or wants or suggestions, MorePhotos is more than happy to go ahead and take those suggestions and help the photographer. They've often said that if a photographer does not sell a photo, there's no reason for them to be in business. That's what they're purpose in business is to assist the photographer in getting to the public and to sell their images. I had to laugh about Mike after I got to know him quite well, that once we finally decided to go ahead and sign up, and he went back into his office staff and said, Ok, you got the associates they're signing up. Now we have to keep them for about two years in order for us to even make any type of profit for the amount of time I spent with them on the phone. Now, I don't know very many businesses that will take the amount of time and the effort that they do to assure that that phone call was being taken care of and they've been taken care of in a professional manner. I can not speak highly enough for MorePhotos. They are, in my opinion, the leading online company. There are several companies out there, and I look all the time at different companies. It's just amazing how much more advanced that they are and ahead of their competition.

Interview with Michael Smith, co-owner and general manager of West Michigan Photo Works from Holland, MI

JOHN: Michael, can you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

MICHAEL: John, we've been partnering with MorePhotos for I think about 6 years already. Very shortly after they started up in Traverse City, Michigan, we started partnering with them. For several years, we partnered with them through their lab images program which allowed us to offer their web hosting services to our customers through somewhat of a cost effective arrangement to our customers and to us. Now this was a great benefit to us in that we didn't have to reinvent the wheel for web hosting for our customers. I think that MorePhotos' web hosting services is probably the premium service out there. They're strictly a web hosting company and that's the thing I like most about them. They don't force the photographer to fit into a box. They don't force the photographer to lose control of their own branding. At every point in the MorePhotos process the photographers work is branded with his own name on it. You're not going off to another site for ordering. You're not going off to another site for payment. Everything is done in the photographer's name, and I think that that's critical for a photographer to build his own brand. At no time should the photographer be forced to lose the focus of hey this is my work and I'm in control, you're dealing with me. I think that's very critical. So we've partnered with them for 5 or 6 years and it's been a very positive experience. Our customers are very happy. They use their web hosting, both at the whole philosophy and that the cost effective nature of it. No recently, and this has been going on for about the last year, we have also become an integrated vendor for MorePhotos. And what that means is that all of MorePhotos' Customers, which I believe at last count there was around 3,200 or 3,300 are able to use our lab to fulfill their orders for their customers. And this has really been exciting for us because of course it's offered our services directly to folks without us having to find them and spend a lot of money to find them, but it's also enabled MorePhotos to be able to offer the services of a professional lab to their customers. It's been a real great, symbolic relationship. We're very happy with it. It's resulted in us being able to grow significantly through new customers, and it's like I said, allowed MorePhotos to be able to offer the services of a lab with confidence. And being able to offer this in an integrated fashion, just means its easier for the photographer, because now instead of having to go through a lot of steps in getting an order, charging a customer for an order, and then going through putting an order together, going to our local lab, run it through a CD, doing all the cropping and what have you, now all they need to do is upload an order and really the MorePhotos' system can take it from there. More Photos has built in real-time processing for credit card collection so the photographer doesn't have to worry about the money, and the ordering software just allows the photographer with a couple of clicks of the mouse to send the order to us for fulfillment with the complete information as far as what to print, how many to print, what sizes and what have you, as well as the complete information on who to send it to. So it really couldn't be easier for the photographer. It's working great for MorePhotos. It's working great for us so we've been very, very happy with the relationship, and not only that, they're just nice people. My wife and I visited them a couple months ago at their offices in Traverse City, and had a tour around, and they're just good people to deal with. They are as dedicated to customer satisfaction as we are and I think that's unusual to find today.

Interview with Rafael Guajardo of Rafael Photography from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

JOHN: Welcome Rafael, can you tell our listeners how has morephotos.com helped your business?

RAFAEL: Morephotos.com is an incredible company to work with. Their customer service is excellent. They really have partnered with me to market my business, and they've always been there. Unfortunately, I haven't taken advantage of all their services at different periods, but their always there for me. It's a company that I trust, and I just can't speak highly enough of them. Great rates. Very competitive. Just truly again a great company. I was actually one of the first people to sign up with a company, I won't mention the name, the letter starts with a "P" and ends with an "E", but it just kind of, you know, it just didn't work. Worked out a lot of bugs and, you know, it just didn't help me. It helped them with their profit margin, but it surely didn't help me and MorePhotos is all about my success, and again, I just can't speak highly enough of them from the customer service to Mike Connors who is a just a leader there, it's been incredible and we will continue to have a great working relationship and this interview, again, is another service that they've provided for me, and I'm very excited.

Interview with Bill Artman of Bill Artman Photography from Shawnee, Kansas

JOHN: Bill, tell us how morephotos.com has helped your business?

BILL: Well, morephotos.com is an outstanding company. I've been a client of MorePhotos for 4 or 5 years, and Mike Connors and all of the people at MorePhotos could not be more helpful. We put all of our photographs on the web that we shoot. Our wedding photographs, our portraits, photographs - our commercial and our corporate photographs for, you know, viewing and then also for ordering, and if we have a question, if we have a problem, and we call the MorePhotos' tech support folks, they are extremely responsive. As an example, we had a minor problem that we were experiencing several months ago, and MorePhotos' tech support worked for quite a few weeks just on one particular item. I think it was affecting our studio, I don't think it was affecting other studios at all, and they got it resolved for us. The other thing that I really, really appreciate with MorePhotos is that if they are going to be doing system upgrades or system maintenance, they will send an email to all of their customers ahead of time letting us know that they're going to be doing maintenance. If there was a big internet outage, for instance, and if that internet outage affected the ability to access my website, after that outage happens they would typically send out an email to all of their customers notifying us that, hey this problem occurred and so they're very, very good at keeping me informed as to what has happened, or any future maintenance. So, I could not recommend MorePhotos to a higher degree. I've been very, very happy for what they've done for us. Also, they are constantly innovating and bringing out new features that are very, very helpful to all their customers.

October 2007

I wanted to get back to you concerning your internet services for my studio. Since I have switched over to MorePhotos.com I have seen a dramatic increase in customer activity. The automated upload and ordering has made it so easy for my clients to communicate their wishes to me. I have been better able to upload and keep track of all of my assignments and the customers actions.

The "album" section allows the editing comments I have only been able to acquire with wasted time by the customer, me and my assistants.

I also want to commend your technical staff for making the simple switch especially easy. When I ran into a problem I was competently assisted and had a virtually seamless transition to the new site that you host.

I will be at the local affiliate PPA association (past president) meeting tonight and will let everyone know that I endorse your service. Stan

Interview with Tom Holloway of Pro Image Photography of Niceville, Florida

JOHN: You are listening to V-Talk Radio Photographer Spotlight. We are in the studio with Tom Holloway of Pro Image Photography in Niceville, Florida. Tom, can you tell us how MorePhotos has helped your business.

TOM: Wow. Great question. Where can I begin? Well, I’ll basically tell you that I probably would not be in business. I can’t say that I wouldn’t be in business, but I surely wouldn’t be as successful as I am right now without MorePhotos. You know, honestly, and I’m trying to be straight from the heart here, they are fantastic. I have been with MorePhotos since their very beginnings. I think when I first joined up with them, they had maybe 15 or 20 customers. I know they are huge now. They are world-wide, They are just incredible. They are so different from all the other ecommerce sites that are out there that are constantly pulling for our business. They pretty much let us run the show. There’s as many options out there as you want to choose, but you can tailor pick them to fit your business. One thing to me that they have really set themselves apart from a lot of ecommerce sites the others have is the bulk of them out there really want a percentage of your business. What I’m saying by that; just say if I do a family portrait, they place a $1,000 order, they may want 10%, 15%, 20% of that order that that customer placed. MorePhotos operates totally different from that. They charge a flat fee per month for x number of images. Currently, I think it’s $49 for 2500 images a month, which I think is fantastic. We can float those in and out, so basically what I do is as I put up new events, I take down older ones. Those can also be a combination of your portfolio and sample site images, as well as customers and different things for your portfolios. They’re great. Over the years, I have pretty much been a beta-type customer with them, to where when something new comes out, they’ll ask me if I want to try it and I do, and we give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down, but honestly I can’t ever remember giving it a thumbs down because they’re so innovative with what they come out with. It’s just great. They are constantly coming up with new ways to enhance our website, and Mike Connors, the President and CEO with MorePhotos, is just an awesome guy. He’s so down to earth. I’ve met him a couple of times at trade shows over the years, and they are just fantastic people to deal with. If I’ve ever got a problem, it’s handled spontaneously. They’ve actually done things to my website while I have been on the phone with them. I’m really not one of these computer geek-type people that understand all the ins and outs of how that stuff works, but with MorePhotos and their software, you don’t have to. They pretty much handle the rear end of all that stuff and it just works great. Like I said, I can’t say enough good things about them.

Interview with Dave Rafftery of Trotter Photo of Manchester, Missouri

JOHN: You are listening to V-Talk Radio Photographer Spotlight. We are talking with Dave Rafftery of Trotter Photo of Manchester, Missouri. Welcome, Dave. Can you tell us how MorePhotos has helped your business.

DAVE: Well, MorePhotos is a very convenient thing for us, to the point to where anybody here can upload the photos. They make it very user friendly for us to get all the photos online from a wedding or a portrait. This saves brides from passing paper proofs around to family and friends. They give them the information on how to get to the photos online, which goes directly through our website. They come to our website. We have a button on the front page, saying “online ordering.” They click on that and find the category, which is wedding portrait location work, several different categories we have on there, and then they find their event, enter in their passcode if there is one, and all of the pictures are viewable. It’s really nice. They have a popup system to where they make the little images look larger. Their magnifying glass tool is really something for a large group because people can click on there and see if their eyes are open. This has enabled us to get a lot of orders that we would probably never see, so it has really increased our bottom line.

Interview with Pat Dorgan of Pat Dorgan Photography of Streamwood, Illinois

JOHN: We are in the studio with Pat Dorgan of Pat Dorgan Photography of Streamwood, Illinois

JOHN: Pat, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

PAT: Absolutely. I’ll tell ya. I just love this company. I found them on the internet and while I was looking for an organization to work with so I could upload photos onto the internet, I photograph horse shows and with the digital revolution, so many things had changed and my sales started to slide. People were buying proofs and then scanning their own stuff at home. I thought, oh gosh I can’t let this happen. So I was looking for a company to work with; came across MorePhotos, and I liked the people within the organization instantly. But what was more important was when I took the virtual tour, you know the tour through the system and how it worked, I could understand it. I am not one of those technologically proficient people, and this site was so easy to move through – to navigate through – you know to find your way around, and it’s easy for my clients. Even clients who are not comfortable with computers will call me and say, hey this is so great when you said I had to buy my pictures online, I thought for sure I would never make it through, but this is a great site. It works so easy –thank you for arranging this for us. But you know MorePhotos is terrific. My sales, I think, increased over night by 30 – 40% and people have more time now with the images online to look at them. They don’t have to come and see me at a show, and they only have 6 hours – you know a window of 4 – 6 hours to view their prints. They can look at them online for four weeks and they love it. I have people sometimes come back and buy you know twice. They place a second order because the pictures are still there online and that’s great. I can’t say enough about their technical people. I called one morning and they weren’t even open and somebody answered the phone, and boy I really needed help that day. Kelly was there, she helped me out, fixed my problem and I’m just grateful. I’m grateful for the system. I’m grateful for the technical people, and grateful for the way Mike Connors just continues to improve the system and enhance it. I just couldn’t ask for more.

Interview with David Myers of David Myers of Treasured Images of Slidell, Louisiana

JOHN: We are in the studio with David Myers of Treasured Images of Slidell, Louisiana.

JOHN: David, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

DAVID: Well, when we first started Treasured Images back in 2004, a friend of mine turned me on to MorePhotos, and I contacted them right away. I’ve always found the software to be very user friendly and the staff at MorePhotos, well they treat you like you’re their only client. They’re always there for ya. There’s a team of people always ready to help and consistently making things better. Not to mention they have a variety of vendors that make it seamless for the consumer. A customer can go online, order something. It’s as simple as me pressing a fulfill button and the product ends up in the customers mail box without me even touching it. And the greatest part is I get to make money on that. I definitely recommend MorePhotos to anybody who is looking for a supportive web company to host the images and also assist with vendors and helping with setting up credit card procedures and authorization services and things like that so I can’t say enough good things about them. I would definitely recommend them.

Interview with Carl Brown of Southern Exposure of Red River, New Mexico

JOHN: We are in the studio with Carl Brown of Southern Exposure of Red River, New Mexico.

JOHN: Carl, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

CARL: Well it has certainly given us a market that we wouldn’t have at all if they weren’t available. We do whitewater rafting photography in the summer time and we market it exclusively on the internet. We do some other things, our family portraits, our weddings, our family reunions, all of our special events – we market those on site as well as online, and that gives us definitely some extra cash flow ongoing after the event and that really helps. They just opened up a whole national market for selling our photographs we just didn’t have before. Especially in our rafting – there’s one particular – we used to shoot them and sell them on site. We’ve been doing it for 22 years so there was no mention of an internet back when we first started. There are some rafting companies that never could come see their pictures down there because they just bust em in, bust em out. We never could market correctly to them, because I just couldn’t see em. So this gave us a whole market that didn’t exist before there too. We use them in lots of different ways and we’re not afraid to.. we have different pass out cards to give to everybody on every different event we shoot. We also have a little presence here in Red River and some of the local websites. They’ve been great to work with. They’ve changed a lot of their structure on their website to accommodate us when we came over to them. They changed the way they tier some of the levels so people can narrow their choices to just a few pictures rather than a whole lot. It keeps us from having to upload tons of pictures and for them to have to download tons of pictures just to look at. They’ve really helped us a lot with re-designing their website to accommodate some of our needs and also to address our customer’s needs. You can tell when we’re getting lots of questions on the phone concerning things on the internet, we know we’re not being efficient with the internet. It’s supposed to be phone call free for the most part. So we adjust those with them. We call it Carl’s wish list and it’s getting narrower and narrower. They’ve taken care of almost everything on it. We’re always on em about it to see how they are and they’re very accommodating. We probably put about 150,000 images on the web for a year, so we’re pretty active on our website.

JOHN: We are in the studio with Bill Simmons of Dog Gone Good Photos of Roswell, Georgia.

JOHN: Bill, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

BILL: MorePhotos has been absolutely fantastic. Primarily I would end up at a show with no opportunity to get images up online. I was very concerned at the time about who was doing a good job, who was not doing a good job, and I got turned onto MorePhotos thankfully right off the bat. I found their technical support was absolutely fantastic. You can call them on the phone, you could either get them right away on the phone – somebody to answer a questions; if you couldn’t get them right away on the phone, somebody would call you back within 24 hours. They helped me get my website up and running. I’ve had more customers tell me how much they really enjoy my website. The ease of ordering is just phenomenal. My business at one point I would say I was probably doing a third of my business on the web. Now I would say it’s probably gone up to ½ of my business is coming off the web. People are finding it to be just an easy way to do business. Keeps my name out there in front of folks. MorePhotos just does a superb job.

BONNIE: Yes. MorePhotos has been amazing. Since I signed up with them, they have hosted my website beautifully, but they also have a shopping cart feature on their website which has been immensely helpful. Their interface for my customers has been wonderful. My customers are able to go online, look at my photographs, and if they want to purchase them, they can do so. They can see all the information they need for pricing and ordering and there also is all my contact information so they can contact me if they have any questions. Morephotos.com has helped me, their customer services has been wonderful. I’ve had a few questions every once in a while, and I’ve been able to call them up and they get right to my problem or my question and they help me immediately. I’ve been very pleased with the service I’ve received from them.

Jeff Hawkins of Jeff Hawkins Photography of Orlando, Florida JOHN: We are in the studio with Jeff Hawkins of Jeff Hawkins Photography of Orlando, Florida.

JOHN: Jeff, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

JEFF: Well, let me tell you guys, this is probably one of the best organizations we’ve been involved with, and I truly believe has really helped us to be successful in what we do, because of the ease of the software to upload our images and our events online. They’ve got so many great advances they’ve made in the software, and this is the number one thing I think when we are on the platform and we promote to photographers is the fact that, look – you’re not gonna be nickeled and dimed for your money. We spend a lot of time getting this money and we don’t want to be going out and having people, you know, take percentage of our products and everything. With MorePhotos it’s a flat rate. You get your images online; you don’t have to worry about that. It’s the same way every month, and if you go over, I mean it’s just a small percentage, but by no means is it objectionable. But the fact is, using MorePhotos will definitely help you to make money and the ease of use. It’s easy to put in your work flow process and it’s easily gonna make you a lot better photographer and get your message out to the masses.

JOHN: We are in the studio with Lori Krieger of Photography by Lori of Jacksonville, Florida.

JOHN: Lori, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

LORI: Oh gracious. More ways than we can have time for probably, but in particular it has increased my sales as far as reprints and enlargements goes. I wasn’t on the other website prior to this, I didn’t have that availability. I was introduced to More Photos and that was one of the driving forces going there, but none the less, I started putting my events up online, and that has been a blessing to me because that’s where you get the extra income coming in. Selling those reprints and enlargements in particular weddings and events. Plus it’s easy to use, so that was nice too. And one more thing is, like I said I could keep talking, but the technical, when you need technical help, they’re right there for you. Up till about 8:30 – 9:00 at night. That’s really nice also.

It has allowed me to set my own price rates, it has allowed me to go out on the internet and find other companies that offer competitive pricing on the different products and it allows me to set my own product with my own price rates. You know, by doing that, it lets me give my customers many more items to chose from and it helps drive up my sales.

Interview with Wallace Jenkins of Unlimited Photography of Chattanooga, Tennessee

JOHN: We are in the studio with Wallace Jenkins of Unlimited Photography of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

JOHN: Wallace, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

WALLACE: MorePhotos has helped my business tremendously for the reasons of, I can go out; take an event; put it on the web; and then people can come and they can buy pictures and I haven’t had that flexibility ever before. Film has, it’s just not as efficient as just putting it on the web and everybody can see it. All people, say if I do a family reunion, everybody is going in all different directions, and when they aren’t they can get on the web, come in and put things in favorites. It’s a great tool for photographers. I have nothing but good things to say about More Photos. Plus on top of that, the customer service is just great. More Photos is, when you call them, I don’t know, they seem like they’re just sitting at home somewhere just sitting around and they’ll talk to you. I’ve talked to a technician for at least 40 minutes at one time, and he helped me through the problems. Just good customer service. It’s a great service for photographers. It’s a must for photographers because especially if you’re shooting digital, if you have the capability of shooting digital and everything, you would need this. It has great tools for your customers like zone tools and then plus the scanning of the picture and everything. It’s just really nice. I’ve really enjoyed being a customer of MorePhotos. I really have.

KIM: MorePhotos has helped my business through the caring and attention to detail of Mike Connors and his staff. We use them as a hosting service to post images for our customers to view and purchase. The advice we’ve gotten from Mike and his group on marketing has directly resulted in increased sales and more money in our pocket. I’ve tried other online hosting services, and I’m not gonna name them here, but the service I have received from MorePhotos is just unbelievable. And in such a positive way they are ready to help their customers. I have benefited greatly from them, and they have earned my loyalty because of that.

Interview with Brian Gerraths of Prints Charming Photography of Portland, Oregon

JOHN: We are in the studio with Brian Gerraths of Prints Charming Photography of Portland, Oregon.

JOHN: Brian, can you tell me how MorePhotos has helped your business?

BRIAN: Yes, in fact, about 4 or 5 years ago, I was looking for a shopping cart service or boxed program, and I needed to be able to extend my reach beyond events so that the guests of a wedding could actually see their photos because otherwise, the brides took the album to their homes, and there was just really no way for the other people to enjoy the images. As common as web shopping carts have become, I researched a bunch of them and MorePhotos’ system has, not only been state of the art, but it has been very intuitive. All you have to do is think about a new feature and somebody on the other end is already working on it. I’m always too late if I’ve ever made suggestions, because they are already on it. They have just done phenomenal things.

It is unquestionable that MorePhotos has an amazing product, great technical support, and everything you will need to sell your images online. But what you may not realize is what a great website can do for your business.

I started taking pictures less than a year ago and my business has exploded. I am certain that I would not have a quarter of the business I get without the help of MorePhotos. I have never done any advertising, but I regularly have people calling from an hour or two away for appointments.

It took some work in the beginning since I had no previous website experience but MorePhotos tech support patiently walked me through everything I needed. Now it only takes about a minute to add a new event complete with a personalized welcome page, and any discounts, shipping and pricing sheets that I want! In no time at all my customers are viewing their pictures and sending family, co-workers and friends to my website to show off their pictures.

Thank you MorePhotos, I cannot express how much I appreciate what you have done for my business.

Eric, your technical support representative, has been consistent across the board. He has always been professional and even if I did ask a dumb question (we know that those do exist) he handles them with care instead of an opportunity to respond facetiously. He adapts to the callers personality and he maintain his bearing along with getting his job done. ...

I appreciate your email it was definitely timely. Eric really was the one who kept me coming back. Guess what? He doesn't even know. If I was in the position I would probably offer him a job.

Take Care David and I really appreciate your correspondence. I thought that MorePhotos was a just a "one night stand" but in fact it's working towards a great relationship.

Kelly, In our conversation this morning I mentioned it took me 5 ½ hours last night (ending at 3:30 a.m. this morning!!) to upload 9 classes from an equine event this past weekend. After working with you, it took just over 2 hours to upload the additional TWENTY FOUR classes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you for coming in to work early AND for answering the phone before you were even open! Thank you for your ability to quickly identify the problem and fix it in warp speed. Thanks for being there for me ~ I really needed help this morning (actually at 3 a.m.!) You got me back on track allowing me to meet the deadline promised to my customers. Meeting deadlines is HUGE with me.

"After receiving an email from Adobe advertising some of their new partnerships, I realized that MorePhotos was exactly what I was looking for: an easy way to ftp hundreds of photos at a time, integrate them into my website, and incorporate a shopping cart that can sell any possible item I can think of in sports photography. All the people at MorePhotos were among the nicest sales and tech support people that I have done business with. My calls were promptly answered and the people on the other end of the line were in no rush to get me off the phone. I truly felt like I was their #1 priority. Shortly after signing up, I received confirmation emails that allowed me to adapt my existing site to the MorePhotos platform almost seamlessly.

When I did have my questions, their help staff was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through not only the questions that I had but also any questions that I might have in the future. Within 24 hours my site is up and running with MorePhotos and I no longer have to pay the high commissions that my previous developer demanded. Not bad for a guy with minimal website design experience.

Thanks MorePhotos"

"I started my website with you in Jan 04. We had a website before but we did not change it or try to make it interactive in any way because we had to go through a webmaster.

I make changes to my website weekly or at least bi-weekly. I have a page called "daily news" that I chat about "nothing" but I give away photo items so it keeps my regulars checking it.

We were in the main area hit by Hurricane Ivan last September. We were getting about 150 hits a day at that time. We were really scared about what the hurricane was going to do to the local economy. To make the long story short, in October and November we received close to 500 hits per day. I actually questioned the integrity of your counter until it fell off again after Dec 20. November was the largest month we have ever had and I believe this Christmas was the largest Christmas. I do believe the October clients talked it up and were able to show off their photos at the office immediately which gave people time to book in late October and through November. It did not let up until the cutoff date.

The website was the smartest thing I have ever done.

I had a thought. Different businesses sponsor speakers as they travel speaking to different photographic guilds and conventions. Do you have booths at the conventions? I think every photographer needs to know about your websites. It has definitely made a huge difference in my business, just when we needed it.

Thank you again. Oh and the support people are just superb. I have worked with Kelly and Eric in the past (both very good) and then today I had a little problem and this guy was just great. Didn't get his name."

"Well it's been a year since we started and just wanted to tell you how pleased I have been with your web service. It has really made my business come alive. As my clients are only in my area for their holidays, it is has been a great tool to allow them the opportunity to view their images online right after the shoot and upon arrival back home. Many have really enjoyed inviting their family and friends to share with either their wedding or holiday pictures on the beach.

I receive solicitations for other web sites on a regular basis, but have not yet seen one that offers the ease of use or the sophisticated look of your site. I especially appreciate the fact that your site allows me to advertise my services to my clients, rather than yours. I think my client feels a level of confidence thinking they are dealing directly with me and my site rather than going through another party (ie: Pictage or Event Pix).

Again, thanks for all"

"Thank you so much for the time and energy you are putting into improving this program for people like me! I LOVE being able to send a confirmation message not only so they know their order came through, but advising when they can expect to see their order.

The multiple print discount is awesome and something I had been doing prior to using this program so you've allowed me to provide services I've offered in the past. Your upgrades help me make every effort to retain the "human touch" aspect of my business as well as increasing sales.

I'm also noticing that since I posted my first event 5/19 (which really wasn't an event at all - I went out to play and posted the shots as a trial entry!) I've received over 6500 hits. Thanks for such a great program. Your efforts are really appreciated!!"

"Just thought I'd drop you a line and these photos of our onsite sales/printing set up. We took part in four National Baseball & Softball Tournaments during July and August this summer, which kept us on the road for eight weeks with a staff of four photographers and six computer/printer and sales people at the concession trailer.

"The four tournaments combined hosted more than 280 teams with 3,600 athletes from all over the U.S., as well as Canada, Mexico, Korea, Dominican Republic, and Australia of which we took more than 55,000 action shots that were displayed for onsite sales for the parents and participants to choose from while at the tournaments. As well, our customers really thing it's great to be able to go to our website after they get home and choose from the thousands of images taken at these tournaments and at their leisure make their purchases online from the photos of their teams.

"We did very well this summer, had a great time and learned a lot during this whirl wind tournament tour and we are already in the planning stages and holding several contracts for National Tournaments for next summer.

"Once again Mike, thank you for providing such a wonderful venue to host our photos and the fantastic personal service and support you and your staff have provided for us.

"The decision to go with the MorePhotos system in hosting our online sales has been one of the best decisions we have ever made."

"I am a fairly new customer to the MorePhotos family. For 2 months I grew to be a pain in the side to many online companies with this question, that question, let me look at this, let me look at that. I have found MorePhotos to be the perfect fit for my business. From the beginning Mike Connors was wonderful to work with, I took hours of his time and I am sure he would have taken even more time if I needed it. I originally decided to go with another company however after trying to do this and do that with them I decided to forgo them and make MorePhotos my online viewing company. To say that I am not computer illiterate would be an understatement.... Everything must be explained to me even down to the final details. Reading a book, forget about that, give me that voice to help me. Within just a couple of hours I had images up and ready for my clients to view. I found the entering was so simple that even my grandchildren could do it, and they will during the summer months. From start to finish their program is so user friendly. If a problem arrises, and believe me with me doing it one would, all I had to do was call Ben in Tech Support without hesitation he know what the problem was and went step by step with me to fix it. To show you how many times I have called I no longer give my name or studio name, just say "Hi Ben" and he knows exactly who I am along with my web site and passwords... To sum it up, would I recommend MorePhotos, in 4 words, With Out A Doubt." - Don Farquhar, The Associates, Overland Park, KS

"MorePhotos has made it easier for our wedding images to be seen by all of the wedding guests, including the minister, who originally never got the chance to see the images. We hand out business cards at the reception, complete with web site instructions to all of the guests, (with the bride's permission). Doing this has increased our wedding sales by at least 20%.

Having your images on the web site is like someone saying "Here, look at my photographs, but first read the photographer's yellow page ad." Everyone who views the images is exposed to all of your other services." - Terry Burton, Terry Burton Photography

"I wrote this as a follow-up report on internet selling using the US based "MorePhotos" system (www.morephotos.com).
Within hours of asking for information the guy who is the boss of the company - Mike Connors - was talking to me on the phone. There was no hard sell and even now I can pull out of the system at any time. Within 2 days of speaking to Mike I had all of the software necessary to start putting together my new selling website. None of which was branded with any "MorePhotos" advertising, a nice touch.

Basic frameworks are provided in various formats and adding the backgrounds, colours, pictures etc is a piece of cake. Guidance when required is from one of Mike's staff always only seconds away (I use Skype for ease of information transfer) far better than any help line I have ever contacted - and at no extra cost. I usually speak to Kelly who is brilliant, I haven't found a problem yet which she couldn't solve in minutes. The actual image up-loading software is very versatile in that it will handle files of whatever size, tif or jpeg converting them to system requirements for thumbnails, viewing images & slide-show. Site security is well thought out with the usual right mouse button disabled to prevent copying plus a custom watermark feature (I like the 3D version of this). We had a glitch caused by the "Phase One" software which basically creates a double file extension (a double period) this isn't a fault but the MorePhotos upload program didn't like it. Within 48hrs of reporting this through the lovely Kelly, they had written a small program correction to accept the double file extension and Hey Presto! fixed. Proofing images using this method is much quicker and easier and we have had a good response from customers - existing & potential. Deleting or adding to "events" is a breeze, as is editing any text, pricelists, shipping costs or discount tables. Credit card details are taken over a secure server, which is part of the site and can be performed in realtime if required; although we opted for the second option of manually inputting CC data after we receive the emailed orders."

"This site has been one of the best money making programs I have been involved in and I am recommending it to every photographer that I know in the UK. It really has influenced the way that I sell my images. I now get orders World Wide including USA, Canada and Australia to name but a few.

Please pass my comments on to those who need to know.

Keep up the good work!"

"Your proposal sounds great. I really appreciate your attention to our special needs. I realize our volume of images and especially our volume of events is a little unusual.

Also, we have been extremely happy with your service and the reliabilty of your server. If need be, I would be happy to provide a testimonial or be used as a reference for your site. There is a possibility that I will be speaking on what we do and how we do it. I was astounded to find out we were one of few (if not the only) member of PSPA previewing our portraits online.

I believe too many companies have attempted to set up their own site for previewing and sales. Your service has provided the opportunity for our company to provide a service that non of the larger companies have been able to do yet." - Dean S., Dean Stewart Photography

"I’m very happy with you, and all the photographers that I gave your number to, have no problems. I can not describe the calls I get when I call the bride and tell them to go and look at their photographs on the web, and their distance friends. There are no words." - Eddy M., Macchione Productions, Inc.

"I like having my domain name without the .photoreflect.com thing attached. I like not having to pay the credit card fee... as I have my own (merchant account)." - Tony A.

"We are very happy with the improvements to our MorePhotos site. We especially love the website options part!! Keep up the good work!", Greg & Sandra Scott, Picture This! Photography

"I'm a new customer of MorePhotos. I wanted to send you a message regarding the fantastic support I've received from Eric Freed. When I was getting things setup, I had a lot of questions. It seems that every time I called, Eric was the unfortunate soul to pick up the phone. I'm surprised he didn't add me to a Caller ID Hotlist;)

Eric was always very professional and helpful. He was also very prompt in returning my call if he had to find an answer. I had already set up an account with another company but soon discovered "you get what you pay for". After having numerous issues, I decided to research other companies. Once I read the testimonials regarding your customer & technical support, my decision to change was much easier. I was not disappointed.

Keep up the good work!"

"Thank you for all the help you gave us in setting up Mr. Puckett. We got the pictures imported, and I think everything is right. I know we have more to do with the software at PhotoTek, but I wanted to take the time to tell you "Thanks".

You were very patient leading me through all the setup, and you made it seem simple. I think the site looks great and I works really cool.

Congratulations on a great product!" - Lynn B., PhotoTek of Lake Charles, Inc.

"For a few weeks now I have been wanting to write and let you know how effective my current web-site has enriched my business.

As you may know our studio has been photographing weddings for over 20 years. We normally photography a total of 45 weddings (one a week-end). The difference in using MorePhotos compared to years past has really made a difference on the timing of the booking and the type of client who books really early.

Normally, our studio would have booked about 10-15% of our weddings by December for the following year. Since going on-line with MorePhotos in Late July of 2002, our studio began booking earlier with what seems to be a higher type of clientele. As of December 5th, 2002, our studio has 90% weddings booked for the year 2003, which only leaves us a few weekends open. When my normal wedding calls begin the day after Christmas (when the girls received their rings), I know for sure that I will fill my entire dance card with a few calls.

I'm from a little town of under 10,000 people.......This website has experienced hundreds of hits since July.....I have received calls as far away as Iowa (wanting to know if I travel). My orders on-line have been as far away as England. (I photographed a wedding for a couple who married in Southern Indiana, but both had families in England who could not make it to the wedding - I had their wedding on-line within 24 hours for everyone to view). My bridal couples love being on their honeymoon and being able to go on-line to review their images......

Before MorePhotos came into the picture I had to sit down at the studio and spend at least 2 hours per potential client to try and make a sale. Now when a client enters my studio the sale has already been made, they are just looking at the final products that will receive in the wedding package of their choice.

Since July I have booked more weddings by phone using my web-site than I ever had in all of the years past.

The best advantages that I like most:
I no longer have to mail out my 15 page catalog of wedding information to the price shopper.......they print it off of the web-site. This saves me $1.75 per phone call. (I still give the bride and groom a hard copy complete with binder when they enter my studio -it has a lot more information than what is on the website) The money I have saved in mailing out my catalog to potential clients (people price shopping) has paid for my website. Now the client who comes in has seen my work ... they have the prices in hand and they are ready to book.

The other advantage is having all of my wedding images go on-line within 4 days after the wedding for all of the guests to review. This has really enhanced my sales. I believe since going on line with our engagement images, bridal portraits and wedding images, our sales has reached a new level that we really didn't expect. (Since July, I have calculated that we have had an increase in sales of more than 20% in increased sales that I know we would not have received with only a proof book going into the brides hands).

The other advantage that my clients like - they get to review each wedding on a weekly basis....once they book with my studio, I encourage them to review my site and select images that they would like to see as part of their coverage. (Example: I had one location site that has become very popular in this area......a lot of my clients see what can be done at this site and they ask for similar images for themselves). I just wanted to say Thank You for the service......it is exactly what my business needed in this digital world." - Lvonne Bennett, Bennett Photography

"I am seriously impressed with how well the sites look and function. I have checked it out and you have done a spectacular job! Please extend my congratulations and best regards to everyone there! Well done." -Larry W., Traverse Magazine

"Now there is a new, easy, and fast way to share your photographs without obligation on your part. Using the internet, your relatives and friends will be able to choose the pictures they would like to order with a click of a mouse. The photographer can then bill them (taking the financial burden off yourself) and mail the photos directly." - Edith Gilbert, Wedding Consultant and Author

"I signed up with MorePhotos just over a week ago, and had to share with you how pleased I am, so far. Since I have a day job that detracts from what I enjoy doing, I haven't had all the time I wanted to spend learning the software. But even with limited time, I'm up and running, and have uploaded my first couple of sample events and senior portfolios for clients to look at. MorePhotos software is extremely well-documented, and easy to operate. I have a couple of points to concentrate on as I get time (Price Sheets primarily, and the ordering process), but at this point in my timeline, how relatively far I've come has more than met my expectations.

I needed to email Tech Support once on Sunday, and got a nice response from Ms. Hradek on Monday.

So all in all, I just wanted to tell you that I'm very pleased that I decided to work with MorePhotos. Everything so far is as advertised.

Thanks for being there." - Bob Ingraham, www.bingphoto.com

"I wanted to take a moment to write you concerning your A-1 Support Team. I have had the opportunity to speak to Eric, Tom and Kelly on various issues and each time, I have been overwhelmed by their professionalism, thoroughness and desire to "get it right."

There were some setup issues originally, but they took care of those quickly. Subsequently, they have handled every other issue or question with ease, confidence and friendliness; and I am impressed.

Your guys are a throwback to the days when people actually cared about Customer Service. Most companies today CAN'T and SHOULDN'T use that term anymore. You can wear the moniker proudly and boldly! It is refreshing!

Thanks again for the help in launch of Champion Photos. We hope to be one of your top generators soon! Be blessed." - Chip Bailey, Champion Photos

"Our experience and satisfaction with your company is a “10”." - Scott Quintard, UCLA Photo

Getting the business back up and runnin is going very well thanks to you, and everyone at MorePhotos. Thank you very much." - Katherine F., Unforgettable Images
